Snow on Monday night in the highest mountainous areas of the Paphos district. In Panagia, Statos-Agios Fotios and Asprogia, heavy snowfall is noted from the evening and in the morning today, creating a scenery like the Troodos. Lighter snowfall is recorded at times since Monday night and at a lower altitude in the province, such as in the areas of Kathikas, Stroumbi, Tsada and villages of Laona.
For the time being, however, according to the Police and the Fire Brigade, the deterioration of the weather conditions in Paphos is not accompanied by serious problems, since the traffic is also running smoothly and the snowfall does not cause any problems so far to households and other activities.
