SECURITY REMINDER
Recently a thief entered an illuminated occupied property [not thought to be in Tala], much to the surprise of the resident. The would-be thief fled.
Even when you are inside your property, please ensure that windows and doors are closed and locked, particularly where you are in a part of the property away from the main entrance door[s]. Also, please ensure that large sums of cash are not kept on the premises and that any valuables are locked away from sight
Many break-ins are via an open or unlocked window or door. Rarely when the occupants are in residence, but this can happen.
