Due to the very high traffic observed in the Troodos area, the access of vehicles going to the area is controlled by members of the Police, aiming at the smooth conduct of traffic and the movement of citizens safely, but to limit the crowding observed in the area.
According to a police announcement, traffic is controlled at three different points: Prodromos – Troodos, Karvounia – Troodos and Platres – Troodos roads.
Therefore, drivers are urged to be patient and comply with the instructions of the on-duty members of the Police.
