The cold air mass, which affects the region, recedes from tomorrow Friday, while low pressure will appear gradually from Saturday when local rains are expected in most areas and isolated thunderstorms. Cold air mass will again affect the region on Sunday, with temperature drops and local rains and/or thunderstorms. Analytically:
Today Thursday the weather will be mostly clear, but locally there will be increased overcast intermittently. The temperature will rise to around 12 degrees in the interior, around 14 degrees on the coast and around zero in the higher mountains. Locally in the highlands the frost will remain.
Tonight the weather will be mostly clear, but locally there will be increased cloud, mainly on the coast. The temperature will drop to around 2 degrees in the interior, around 4 degrees in the south and east coasts, around 6 degrees in the rest of the coast and around minus 5 degrees in the higher mountains. Locally, in the mountains, in the semi-mountainous and later in the interior frost is expected.
On Friday the weather will be partly cloudy and at times locally cloudy, while isolated light rains and light snowfall are likely to occur, locally in the mountains. Late in the evening local rain or thunderstorms are expected, in the western half of the island, as well as snowfall, locally in the mountains.
On Saturday the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, while in the morning isolated rain or thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the west and south, as well as snowfall locally in the mountains. By the afternoon, as well as snowfall in the higher mountains.
On Sunday the weather will be partly cloudy and in the morning locally cloudy, while local rain or thunderstorms are expected, as well as snowfall locally in the highlands. From noon, a gradual improvement of the weather is expected, with isolated light rains and transient light snowfall locally in the mountainous and semi-mountainous areas.
