COLLECTION OF FREE SELF-TEST PACKAGE AVAILABLE FROM 25 JANUARY

The free distribution of the 1st package of self-tests from pharmacies continues and citizens can receive it until January 24, 2022, while the distribution of the 2nd package will start from January 25, 2022, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Health.

Beneficiaries are those citizens who have completed their vaccination program with two doses for the two-dose vaccines and one dose for the single-dose vaccine or received the booster/ 3rd dose of vaccine and are also beneficiaries of the GHS.

a) GHS beneficiaries will receive their self-tests from GHS-contracted pharmacies upon presentation of proof of identification.

  • The package includes five self-tests and citizens will have the opportunity to voluntarily perform the test to see if they are positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
  • In case of a positive result, citizens should contact their Personal Doctor to refer them for PCR examination to the Public Health Clinics of their province of residence.

b) Citizens who are not GHS beneficiaries, but have completed their vaccination regimen in Cyprus, or have completed their vaccination program in another European country and are GHS beneficiaries, can receive the package containing the five self-tests from the following points:

In case of a positive result, citizens should contact the Coordination Center for Public Health Clinics at the email: coordination.iatreiadygeias@moh.gov.cy by sending your identification details (name, surname, phone number, id number, date of birth and province), as well as a photo of your positive self-test.
