According to the Decree of the Minister of Finance regarding government guarantees to credit institutions for granting loans, businesses and self-employed persons, who are beneficiaries of a loan, they should obtain, among other things, a relevant certificate from the Department of Taxation that they have settled their tax obligations.
In order to issue the relevant Certificate, interested persons or their representatives should submit a request, by e-mail to the local District Offices, on the subject "Request for the issuance of a Certificate for the granting of business loans with government guarantees" at the following e-mail addresses:

The following information should be included in the e-mail:
- Name/Name of company
- A.F.T.
- Contact number
- Credit institution with which the loan will be contracted
- E-mail address for sending the relevant Certificate
The issuance of the relevant Certificate will be sent to the e-mail of the applicant/representative, after it has been confirmed that:
- All Income Statements that had to be submitted in accordance with the applicable legislation were submitted by the date the request is submitted.
- The amounts of the self-taxation payable have been paid.
- Any direct/indirect VAT tax debts have been paid or are in settlement.
