The police in Limassol proceeded with the arrest of a 28-year-old man, after the posting of a video in an NDD was reported to the Police, of a dogfight between two dogs. A 25-year-old man is wanted in the case.
Specifically, and according to the IWC of Limassol, the case was reported by a volunteer in matters of animal abuse, after receiving information that on Social Media, a holder of a specific account posted a video of the two dogs engaged in dogfighting.
The ensuing examinations established the identity of two persons appearing in the video, a 28-year-old and a 25-year-old, and arrest warrants were issued against them.
Yesterday afternoon the Police arrested the 28-year-old, who, being questioned, gave various allegations that are being investigated.
The second suspect was not identified and is wanted. The case is being investigated by the Animal Police.
