At an advanced stage are the actions of a well-known airline for direct flights, for the first time in many years, from Larnaka airport to Paris airport, Charles de Gaulle. As is well known, for the time being the air connection between Cyprus and France is made from the airports of Marseille and Bove.
The airport of Beauvais Tille Airport (BVA), however, is quite far from the centre of Paris, around 85 kilometres and is a small airport, without many amenities. The airport is located in the Tille area, just outside the city of Beauvais and is a base for many low-cost airlines, such as Ryanair and Wizzair.
Charles de Gaulle, by contrast, is one of the largest air hubs in the world and also the largest airport in France. It was named in honour of the 18th President of France, Charles de Gaulle. It is the 5th largest airport in the world in passenger traffic, the 8th in the world in aircraft traffic (and 1st in all of Europe) and the 7th in the world in terms of freight traffic. The airport is the headquarters and hub of Air France. It was inaugurated in 1974 and replaced Orly Airport, as the largest airport in the country.
On the table the ATA/Minimum wage
On the table of the social dialogue in order to find the right balance will be raised very soon the issue of the ATA and the opposing views of the workers, who are calling for its reinstatement and of the OEB who are calling for its abolition. The column, however, believes that the golden mean will be the extension of the existing agreement, which expires at the end of this year, as on the one hand the employers' organizations cite the increased costs, which they link to the introduction of a national minimum wage, and on the other hand the guilds consider that the ATA is a blessing for the workers. For discussion, however, in the context of the pension reform, the issue of lifting the actuarial reduction of 12% will also be raised for those who retire at the age of 63.

They "pushed" the economy
The growth rate of the economy in the third quarter of 2021 is positive and is estimated at 5.5%, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2020, according to a press release issued by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.
After the GDP correction for seasonal fluctuations and working days, the growth rate is estimated at 5.6%. The positive GDP growth rate is mainly due to the sectors: "Hotels and Restaurants", "Manufacturing", "Transport, Warehousing and Communications", "Wholesale and Retail Trade, Repair of Motor Vehicles", "Arts, Entertainment and Entertainment", "Other Service Activities". However, the truth to say the growth in a time of pandemic, confirmed the resilience of the Cypriot economy. The issue should now focus on reducing public debt and continuing prudent management.
