The YouTube network/channel has 2.5 million subscribers/cyclists, while the films available on its platform have so far achieved views of more than 850 million subscribers/cyclists.

This channel will be launched in Paphos at the invitation of the Paphos ETAP and a relevant agreement reached.

Specifically, a production team consisting of 5 professionals will descend on Paphos where they will cycle various on and off-road routes covering the areas of Pegeia-Akamas, Laona villages, Polis Chrysochous coastline to Gialia, Paphos Forest, Stavros tis Psokas, Panagia etc.

The team will produce promotional material and will promote through its network in German-speaking countries both the routes and in general the unique experience offered in the Paphos district.

In his statements, the Director of the Paphos ETAP, Nassos Hadjigeorgiou, points out that the Paphos ETAP is innovating in terms of online promotion and through this effort aims to expand the means of promoting this experience. At the same time, it aims at the further development of this form of tourism in order to contribute to the containment of seasonality with the medium-term goal of restoring the destination to a year-round operation.

As noted in the announcement, visitors to the Paphos District can enjoy the exciting experience of cycling as part of their wider holidays throughout the Paphos district, as a magical destination for activities, adventure, and professional training.

Paphos has all the ingredients to establish itself as an Active/Athletic destination. The "puzzle" is slowly being completed and what is needed is to continue the effort to further organize the offered experiences and to intensify targeted promotional through effective promotional channels.
