At the meeting of the Finance Committee during which the Budget for 2022 of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works was presented, it was confirmed that among the projects that will be implemented in the new year is the project to stabilize the landslide and reconstruct part of the Ayia Varvara-Natas road, near Nata.

This was stated by the member of the Committee, Member of parliament for Pafos of DIKO, Chrysanthos Savvidis, who pointed out that when asked whether the expropriation process has been completed, the competent Minister, Yiannis Karousos, assured that it has been completed and the green light has been given for the implementation of this project. "In addition, I was informed that the tender process is expected to be announced in the first half of 2022," he said. "Even with some delay, I am very pleased that yet another road, which has plagued Paphos for 4.5 years, is being led to completion."

This project, concluded Mr Savvidis, will undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of the road safety of this road axis.
