On the occasion of three different incidents that occurred recently in the districts of Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol, where three women were victims of theft by unknown women, the Police draw attention and warn the public to be particularly careful.
Specifically, according to the complaints of the three complaining women, they themselves had been visited at their home by unknown women, who allegedly sold toiletries and clothing, and during their stay in the victims' homes, the three suspects allegedly distracted them on various pretexts.
In one case they stole a quantity of gold from the two complainants, while in the third case, a wallet was stolen, which was in a bag and contained a sum of money of €370.
According to the description given to the Police, all the suspicious women had a Greek accent. The first suspect is described as being about 70 years old, with blond hair, the second is described as aged about 50-55 years, of normal physique, with black hair up to the shoulder and the third suspect as aged about 35 years, about height 1.60m. and wore a white shirt and denim pants.
Therefore, the public is asked to be suspicious and not to trust unfamiliar people. Also, citizens are urged not to allow strangers to enter their home, since the suspects apparently find various excuses to fool the occupants of the house and steal either money or valuables.
In the event that any person comes to the attention of an incident similar to the cases in question, he/she should immediately call the Police.
