The important problem of burglaries and thefts in Paphos is of great concern to the Police Department of the province. Although Pafos is not plagued by organised crime and serious incidents, the problem of burglaries and thefts has become a scourge.
For this reason, according to our information, it was decided by the leadership of the Pafos Police Department to staff other patrols of the Pafos Police who will be exclusively responsible for dealing with burglaries and thefts. These groups will deal on a permanent basis with the scourge, as it unfolds in Paphos, of burglaries and thefts in an effort to deal directly and critically with the phenomenon.
These additional patrols will begin their action in the city of Paphos immediately, wanting to make clear their presence and their specialized engagement with the issue, sending messages in all directions, especially after the increased and serious incidents observed during the last months.
