Works on sections of the Limassol - Pafos motorway will be carried out from next Friday, according to an announcement by the Office of the District Engineer of Pafos, the Department of Public Works, ministry of transport, communications and works.
According to the announcement, on Friday 17/9/2021, between the hours of 09:00 and 13:00, in the following sections of the motorway and in the two lanes (slow and express) traffic, works will be carried out to extract asphalt concrete cores.
Specifically, it is added to the announcement that these are the kilometric position 52+000 to 52+500 in the direction of Limassol to Paphos (between the exits of Agios Varvara – Anaritas), and the kilometric position 9+590 to 9+790 in the direction from Paphos to Limassol (between the exits of Agios Varvara – Anaritas).
During the execution of the works, the fast and slow traffic lanes will be closed alternately.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and calls on the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police, the statement concludes.
