The study for the combined development of the Pafos marina was the subject of a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Pafos BCCI with the representatives of the Consortium that will prepare this study.
During the meeting, views and concerns related to the development of the Pafos Marina and in general the composition that this development should have, the demand and the parameters that should be taken into account, the capacity of the Marina and similar services and others were submitted. The adjoining road network and the surrounding area where the works should proceed were also discussed, while from the Chamber's point of view it became clear that the timetables should be strictly adhered to without any further delays.
Both sides agreed on a close cooperation for an exchange of views and it was agreed that the meeting would resume in the next few months when the first data and findings of the study would begin to be processed.
On behalf of the Pafos Chamber of Commerce, the meeting was attended by the President George May, the Vice President of Commerce, Charalambos Papantoniou, the Vice President of Services, Pantelis Evangelou, the Vice President of Tourism, Chryssis Chrysanthou, the Honorary Secretary, Zeno Zenonos and the Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Marinos Stylianou. The meeting was also attended by representatives of other stakeholders such as the President of PASYXE Pafos, Thanos Michaelides and the Director of the H.P.P., Nassos Hadjigeorgiou.
