PASYKI and pasydy's Doctor and Clinical Directors branch announce a three-hour work stoppage on Wednesday, September 29, from 08:00 to 11:00, at public hospitals and health centres.
"The absence, authoritarianism, disrespect and insults to the trade unions on the part of the CSO can no longer be tolerated," the organizations said in a statement.
The medical community of public hospitals, it is added, cannot continue with the situation in which they find themselves.
Apologies are expressed "to our fellow citizens for any inconvenience they may suffer and to stress again that unfortunately the attitude of the CySEC leaves us no other choice than the implementation of the aforementioned reaction measures".
