Below is the data for the vaccination coverage of the population until August 28, according to the Ministry of Health.
In total, until yesterday, at least 78.2% of the adult population (18+) were vaccinated with the 1st dose. The corresponding percentage of the adult population completed its vaccination regimen reached 73.8%. At least the 1st dose received 35.6% of people aged 16-17 years, and 28% of this age group completed their vaccination. At the ages of 12-15, the 1st dose was administered at 16.7%,while the 2nd doses began to be administered gradually, with the percentage of children 12-15 years old who are fully vaccinated being at 3.3%.
Regarding the vaccination coverage per District, Pafos is first in vaccination coverage with 89.3% of its population having received at least the 1st dose. It is followed by the District of Famagusta with 86.6% and then the Districts of Nicosia and Limassol with 77.9% and 76.6% respectively. Finally, the lowest vaccination coverage rate is in the District of Larnaca with 72.2%.
