The time has come for the start of construction work for the improvement of Ellados Avenue and parts of the Avenues Evagora Pallikarides, Neophytou Nikolaidis and Georgios Grivas-Digenis, total expenditure of €9 million, plus VAT.
Following the preparatory meeting of 10 June at the "Attica" Multispace, with the aim of coordinating the actions of all the Services involved for the best possible execution of the project, without problems and unnecessary suffering for the public, work on the substance has begun in recent days, with individual interventions on the adjacent road network of Ellados Avenue and in the coming days the main volume of projects concerning Ellados itself is expected to be implemented.
As part of the implementation of the project, it is planned to create about 300 parking spaces on Ellados Avenue, as well as dozens of other spaces on the other avenues, the construction of two roundabouts and safe sidewalks, the underground cables of all the Public Utilities, tree plantings along the roads and others.
Please note that the terms of the contract for the execution of the project include provisions for the regulation of traffic during the work, while the contractor will have the obligation to ensure access to residential and business premises.
