The arrest of two persons was carried out yesterday by the Police, as part of an investigation of a case involving conspiracy to commit a misdemeanour and killing of a cat for unacceptable purposes, committed on 5/8/2021, in the province of Nicosia.
During an investigation of the case, testimony was obtained against a 52-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, who were arrested yesterday on court warrants.
Also, in an investigation carried out by judicial warrant in the premises and vehicles of the two persons, evidence was found and received for examinations.
The 52-year-old was subsequently released after being charged in writing to be summoned to court, while the 39-year-old was released without charge.
The tests are ongoing.
