The Ministry of Health informs that, since vaccination appointments are now available on an ongoing basis through the Vaccination Portal, for all persons aged 16 years and over, the procedure for rescheduling appointments has been updated, as follows:
Rescheduling appointments for 1st dose : In case a citizen wishes to transfer time appointments for the 1st dose, he should contact the call centre 1474, where he can cancel his appointment. After the appointment is cancelled through 1474, the citizen can re-schedule a new appointment through the Vaccination Portal.
Rescheduling appointments for 2nd instalment : To reschedule appointments due to a serious impediment, citizens can send the following complete information to the e-mail address vacrescheduling@mphs.moh.gov.cy:
- Name
- No. ID Card
- Date of birth
- Date and time of appointment
- Vaccination Center
- Type of vaccine
- No of Contact phone (preferably mobile phone, as it is possible to send a message)
- Reason for requesting a change of appointment (e.g. case of coronavirus, close contact of case, etc.)
- When is reprogramming desirable?
Requests for rescheduling for appointments for the 2nd dose of the vaccine will be processed by the Ministry of Health and applicants will be informed by telephone of the new appointment to be set for the administration of the 2nd dose of the vaccine.
The ultimate aim of the above is to facilitate the public and improve access to vaccines, as it has been repeatedly stated, vaccinations are a key pillar of the strategy aimed at combating the pandemic.
