RE-EVALUATION OF THE WAY THEATRES, CINEMAS AND AMPHITHEATRES OPERATE

As part of the ongoing reassessment of the measures taken in the last two cabinet sessions to intercept the spread of the virus, it was decided that from Tuesday, 13 July and following an amending Decree to be issued on 12 July, amphitheatres, cinemas and theatres will operate in accordance with the conditions laid down for football stadiums.

specifically:

  • From 13 July to 20 July, entrance to theatres, amphitheatres, cinemas and theatres is permitted only for persons who have completed their vaccination regimen or have been vaccinated with the 1st dose of the vaccine and who have passed 3 weeks, for persons holding a negative rapid test or PCR certificate valid for 72 hours and for persons who have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 6 months, at an occupancy rate of 50% of the premises/space.
  • From 21 July, theatres, amphitheatres, cinemas and theatres are allowed to operate as follows:
  1. only for persons who have completed their vaccination regimen and for persons who have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 6 months, at an occupancy rate of 75% of the premises/site, or only for persons who have completed their vaccination regimen or have been vaccinated with the 1st dose of the vaccine and who have passed 3 weeks, for persons holding a negative rapid test or PCR test valid for 72 hours and for persons who have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 6 months, provided that the maximum number of people indoors does not exceed 250 people and outdoors 350 people. It is understood that all the provisions of the health protocol and the guidelines apply.
  • Persons aged 12-15 years who cannot be vaccinated at this stage and who have not had a COVID recovery certificate for the last 6 months shall present a negative certificate from a PCR test or rapid antigen test with a validity of 72 hours. In addition, persons aged 16 years and over who cannot be vaccinated due to a serious medical problem are excluded and may present a negative PCR or rapid test certificate valid for 72 hours by presenting the medical certificate confirming why they cannot be vaccinated.

Finally, it is clarified that they remain in force and that the health protocols and guidelines applicable in the premises concerned must be complied with.
