A call for the participation of Tourist Accommodations and Tourist Offices in the "Programme of Subsidised Summer Holidays" for the period 15 July 2021 - 31 August 2021, is made by the Ministry of Tourism.
Tourist Accommodations (Hotels, Organized Apartments, Tourist Villages, Agrotourism Accommodations) and Tourist Offices that cooperate with legal tourist accommodations, which can offer for the period from 15 July 2021 until 31 August 2021 a maximum price of €80 (including VAT) for a double room with breakfast, per day, with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
The Programme will also provide for 35% of the cost of accommodation to be covered by the State Department.
Companies wishing to participate in the Programme for the period from 15 July 2021 to 31 August 2021 may submit a declaration of participation to the Ministry of Tourism. More details, as well as a declaration of participation, can be obtained from the corporate website of the Ministry of www.tourism.gov.cy (announcements column).
The deadline for submitting a declaration of tourism companies to participate in the Programme is Friday 9 July 2021 at 13.00. The relevant lists will then be prepared for public information.
Beneficiaries
The beneficiaries of the Project are all permanent residents of the island, who:
• They have been vaccinated with at least one dose
• They have recovered from the virus up to 180 days before their stay at the property.
For all of the above, beneficiaries must provide, in electronic or printed form, the relevant evidence upon arrival at the accommodation of their choice. Persons under 16 years of age are excluded from the obligation to present.
