- Instructions were given at next Wednesday's Cabinet meeting to make suggestions for the first measures to provide financial support to those affected, as well as to assess the remaining aspects arising from the tragedy.

Immediate was the reaction of Exness company to the unprecedented material and natural disaster caused by the largest fire in the history of the Republic of Cyprus, which resulted in the death of four of our fellow human beings and the destruction of private property and 55 square kilometres of pine trees and wild vegetation.
The company today announced financial assistance of €300,000 for the purpose of rebuilding the Heptagonia fire station and reforestation in the affected areas.
In a statement, Exness co-founder and CEO Petr Valov said that "the events of the past weekend are tragic for Cyprus and as part of the society in which we operate we have an obligation to act and not to remain a liability". "It is the duty of the private sector and we hope," Mr. Valov "that with our assistance we will also contribute to the effort that will begin to rebuild what has been lost".
This is not the first time that Exness has stood in solidarity in Cypriot society. In 2020 it proceeded to provide special equipment to public hospitals worth €1 million, thus strengthening the fight against the virus.
