In the construction of a new cell at the Paphos Landfill Site, which is expected to meet the needs of the Province, the Paphos Disposal or Recovery Council is proceeding.
According to an announcement by the Municipality of Paphos, today, President of the Council, Mayor of Paphos, Phaedon Phaedon, signed with the contractor Consortium Vert & Blanc – Elbiomech – Aquamec the contract for the design and construction of the new cell, with a total cost of €3.1 million.
The project will be completed within 12 months and work on its construction will begin immediately, the announcement concludes.
