Scientists are ringing a bell about coronavirus mutations that could potentially lead to inflammation of the disease and thus to a new wave of pandemics.
The next bet is to address variations in combination with the effectiveness of vaccines.
In a report entitled ''The Forever Virus'', six scientists, doctors, experts warn that immunity is not approaching and that the virus will not be eliminated.
As stated in the report, there are more than a few countries that do not have access to a sufficient number of vaccines. Inequality in vaccines is likely, as noted, to create new contagious mutations.
So far, however, nearly 3.7 million people around the world have died of coronavirus, while 175 million have been infected. They're stuck.
The example of Britain, where cases have increased significantly in recent days due to the Indian variant, alarms the scientific community.
After all, the leading US infection specialist, Anthony Faucci, stressed that the vaccination programme should be expanded as the Indian mutation risks becoming a dominant strain of the virus around the globe.
