WORK CONTINUES AT DASOUDI PARK IN PAPHOS

Work continues rapidly on the landscaping and improvement of the Municipal Park of Dasoudi in Paphos, after the signing on 2 March of the contract with the preferred bidder for the large project.

This place is one of the most historic places in the city and is probably the oldest and largest park that Paphos had. It was built in 1991 and today, 30 years later, it is in need of essential renovation.

As part of the project, a modern playground is created, garden with aromatic plants, while 70 new trees will be planted, there will be an amphitheatre and a complete reconstruction of the parking lot, new lamps and benches will be placed, all illegal additions will be removed and the cafeteria will be renovated, fences and flooring will be made, and there is also a proposal from a visual artist for the creation and placement next to the Monument of Heroes E.O.K.A. 1955-'59 of a new sculpture.
