VISITING PATIENTS IN HOSPITAL WITH SAFEPASS

Under conditions and with the possession of SafePass, the ban on visits to hospitals, clinics, dispensaries, diagnostic centres is lifted. Visits resume with arrangements through the new decree of the Minister of Health. It is recalled that visits to patients were suspended for a long time due to the coronavirus pandemic

As stated in the Decree, visits are permitted with the approval of the managers of the premises and provided that persons aged 12 years and over possess:

1. either a negative laboratory test or a rapid antigen detection test for COVID-19 disease with sampling carried out within 72 hours;

2. either a vaccination certificate for COVID-19 disease at least at one dose and provided that a period of three weeks has passed after the date of vaccination,

3. either proof of release in the case of persons ill with COVID-19 disease and provided that no period of six months has passed since the date of sampling of their initial positive diagnosis.

It should be noted that visits concerning urgent and exceptional cases are excluded from the examination, subject to the approval of the persons responsible for the premises.

Similarly to hospitals, visits to nursing homes, care homes for the elderly, centres for chronically ill people, shelters for vulnerable groups, hostels for the transitional accommodation of homeless people, day care centres, child protection structures, are allowed, in compliance with the guidelines of the Ministries of Health and Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance.
