Free screening programmes with rapid antigen testing of the general population and workers continue, with a view to continuous monitoring of the community and workplaces.
In order for the smooth and safe operation of the companies operating in accordance with the Decrees, the employers in the companies, as well as the Heads of Departments / Services of the public and wider public sector have the responsibility to coordinate as the employees undergo rapid test, in order to ensure the mandatory weekly examination with rapid antigen test of the staff as follows:
- Businesses / services where they work with a physical presence of up to five (5) people, the control should be done to all employees.
- Businesses / services where they work with a physical presence of more than 5 people, the control should be done on at least 50% of the employees.
- In addition, through the program, the self-employed should participate, as well as people who work as domestic helpers and / or are responsible for the care of the elderly or people with disabilities or people who can not self-serve.
It is reminded that employees who have received the 1st dose of licensed vaccine and have passed 3 weeks from the vaccination, are released from the obligation for weekly control with rapid test.
