On the resurrected night of the Great Saturday, perpetrators chose to "hit" the lifeguards in Limassol and extract valuable materials essential for their work.
As the Limassol Lifesaving Unit said in a statement, on Saturday night the Lem14 tower, which is near the dock, was breached and various objects were stolen.
"For them they are most likely useless but to us but they are very important," they said in a statement and appealed for their return.
"We appeal for them to be returned because these materials are very important to our work"
