For the purposes of the parliamentary elections, the Republic of Cyprus is divided into six Electoral Regions, corresponding to the six administrative provinces of Cyprus, namely the provinces of Nicosia, Limassol, Famagusta, Larnaca, Paphos and Kyrenia, respectively.

According to Article 4 of the Election of Members of the House of Representatives Law, parliamentary seats, which total 56, are allocated by constituency based on the number of registered voters of each constituency, as shown by the current last electoral list.

According to the latest data, kept in the computerised register of election office electors, the distribution of parliamentary seats by constituency is calculated as follows:
In order to find the number of parliamentary seats corresponding to each constituency, the total number of voters registered in the electoral register of the whole Republic, i.e. all six constituencies, is divided by the number 56, which is the total number of parliamentary seats.
The quotient of this division is the measure on the basis of which the distribution of parliamentary seats is made in each constituency, depending on the number of electors, which are entered in the last electoral register in force in the constituency concerned. We then divide the total number of electors, which are written in the last voting list of each constituency, by the measure resulting from the above division and find the number of parliamentary seats allocated to each constituency.
According to the last current electoral list of 2 April 2021, the total number of voters registered on the electoral roll throughout the Republic is 557,989. In order to find the number of parliamentary seats corresponding to each constituency, we divide the number 557,989 by the total number of parliamentary seats in the House of Representatives, i.e. the number of seats in the House of Representatives. number 56.
The quotient resulting from this division, which is 9.95 electors, is the measure by which we divide the total number of electors on the electoral roll of each constituency, separately. Thus, on the basis of the last current electoral list of 2 April 2021, the parliamentary seats in each constituency are currently as follows:
