It is, we recall, another useful digital tool for every visitor, but also the local resident of Paphos, to know the hidden and obvious beauties of the city of the Goddess of Aphrodite and to find easily and simply any information he seeks.
The Digital Tourist Guide ExplorePafos, created by the Municipality of Paphos, offers the opportunity for all interested parties to discover in a fast, easy and attractive way every corner of the city and to digitally browse its picturesque newly renovated squares, urban and cultural infrastructure sites, archaeological monuments and sights of Paphos. With rich photographic material, explanatory texts and useful information presents the historical past and the modern face of the city through the history, culture, environment, activities and services offered today by the birthplace of Aphrodite.
Already, according to those responsible, the new digital application seems to be the subject of intense activity within Paphos, obviously from young ages in particular, which creates optimism that it will have a practical impact on a wider level of activity in many areas of Paphos.
ExplorePafos is available in four languages, Greek, English, Russian, German and Hebrew, and French and Arabic will soon be added. Interested parties can download a relevant mobile app that includes for some points of interest and browsing using augmented reality (AR button).
The digital platform was created as part of the SmartCities project of the InterregV-A Cooperation Programme "Greece - Cyprus 2014-2020".
