The Municipality of Paphos is starting to further aesthetically upgrade the traditional core of the city centre. Painting and landscaping of the historic public buildings that adorn the area, is the new field of action of the municipal authority aiming at an even more attractive view of the historical centre.
Shortly, the Municipality will begin the procedures for the painting of the Dimitrios Primary School, the Nikolaidios Gymnasium, the Lyceum of the 1st Ethnarch Makarios of the 3rd and the Neophytos Primary School. Work is expected to begin within the next few days and be completed by the end of July.
The colours were selected and decided by the Department of Coordination and Preservation of cultural heritage of the Department of Urban Planning and Housing, as the competent body, while suggestions were also submitted by the Aesthetic Control Committee of the Municipality of Paphos.
