Works of the rich musical tradition of Cyprus and contemporary creations of Cypriot composers in a musical alloy that will enchant, is presented on Saturday, May 29th as part of the FlashArt 2 program of the Rialto Theatre which aims to support Cypriot creators.
It is a different sound dialogue from the Quintus Ensemble and the ChamberFusion String Quintet that aims to offer a musical journey to Cypriot traditional music, under the orchestral editing of Neoklis Neofytides .
Works of the rich Musical Tradition of Cyprus, as well as contemporary creations by Cypriot composers, are reflected in the wind and stringed sounds and sensations of today. The artists meet on stage and create a special performance, with the dynamic sound of the spirits mingle with the melodic sound of the string and create a Musical Alloy that will enchant.
The Quintus Ensemble consists of Savvas Christodoulou (flute), Simeon Spasov (oboe), George Georgiou (clarino), Evangelos Christodoulou (bassoon) and Anita Skoutela (horn).
Chamber Fusion Quintet consists of Giorgos Hatzigeorgiou (1st violin), Nikolas Vryonis (2nd violin), Nikolas Efthimios (viola), Doros Zisis (cello) and Nikolas Tryphonos (contrabass).
