The vaccination portal for those over 61 which crashed on Wednesday morning will reopen at 5pm.
The ministry of research, innovation, and digital policy said the portal would be back online at 5pm for people 61 and above.
It had crashed shortly after opening at 8am because it could not handle the volume of requests. Close to 19,400 vaccines were made available at the time.
By the time it crashed, all the slots for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines had been exhausted. Only AstraZeneka jabs, round 15,000, will be available when it reopens.
