VACCINE PORTAL OPENS FOR ANOTHER VULNERABLE CATEGORY ON SUNDAY 11 APRIL

Seven thousand appointments will be given on Sunday to vaccinate vulnerable groups, according to Deputy Director of Medical Services Olga Kalakuta.

In a statement to the RIK's Third Programme, Ms. Kalakouta said that tomorrow, the Vaccination Portal will be reopened for people 61 years of age and older, with the two vaccines available again, and on Sunday, they will be able to arrange appointments for about seven thousand citizens joining vulnerable groups.

According to her, on this day they will be able to make an appointment for vaccination, heart patients, oncological patients, people who have been transplanted or are receiving biological treatment, quadriplegics and people with respiratory problems.

Referring to the disruption caused by the AstraZeneca preparation in many countries, he stressed the need for Europe to clarify the whole issue convincingly.

He stressed at the same time that at a time when the country's epidemiological picture is deteriorating, we are debating whether we should use a vaccine that saves lives.
