The 13 occupants and an employee at a nursing home in Nicosia are also positive for PCR tests, but do not show any symptoms.
According to associated information, the residents were vaccinated with both doses of Pfizer vaccine. Initially on Monday, they tested positive for rapid testing and then underwent a PCR test whose results were positive.
With this development, the experts' attitudes are confirmed that on the one hand those who are vaccinated can both have the disease and transmit the virus and on the other hand those who are sick after vaccination have either mild symptoms or are asymptomatic.
It should be noted that cases in nursing homes have been positively detected after some time.
