In fear of a fourth lockdown, British experts are calling on citizens, especially young people, to show discipline and responsibility as, after the relaxation of restrictive measures in the country, they have spilled into parks and squares on top of each other.
From London to Manchester and Leeds, good weather and plenty of alcohol put distances, masks and prevention second. Enthusiastic youths defy bans that are still in place like night traffic and while authorities have banned drinking in alcohol and squares.
At the same time, Boris Johnson is promoting the so-called vaccination passport, which will allow citizens who have received both doses of the crown virus vaccine to have access to specific areas or activities.
According to the British Government, the British Prime Minister wants to start implementing a pilot programme with the vaccination certificate for people entering theatres, concerts, pubs and restaurants from next month.
The pilot program will be implemented in collaboration with the National Health System and an updated version of its application that will allow users to prove that they have been vaccinated against Covid-19 disease.
As the British daily Daily Mail reports, 72 MPs are expected to oppose Johnson's plan.
This threatens a major headache for the British government.
Johnson himself, however, said at a Middlesbrough meeting yesterday that "vaccination passports" now seem inevitable for travelling abroad.
