WEATHER OVER THE WEEKEND TO GREEN MONDAY

With atrium weather and some temporarily increased clouds we will cut this year the mite of Lent, since from today the weather conditions improve as high pressure begins to affect the area. The height of the snow in Troodos Square this morning was 2 centimetres. Detailed forecast through to Green Monday:

Today Friday, the weather will generally be mostly atrium although early in the morning it is possible to observe locally increased clouds. The temperature will rise around 19 degrees inland, south and east coasts, around 17 degrees on the west and north coasts and around 10 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will generally remain mostly clear. The temperature will drop around 5 degrees inland, around 8 degrees on the south and east coasts, around 9 on the west and north coasts and around 4 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Saturday, the weather will generally be mostly atrium but in the afternoon it is possible to observe high clouds. At night and early in the morning, sparse fog and low cloud are expected locally. The temperature will rise slightly, to range close to or even slightly above average climatic values.

On Sunday, the weather will be mostly cloudy, from medium and high clouds. The temperature will not change significantly, to range close to or even slightly above average climatic values.

On Green Monday, the weather will generally be mostly atrium, with some transiently increased clouds from time to time. The temperature will rise slightly further, to range above average climatic values.
