People with rheumatic diseases taking biological agents or other immunosuppressive drugs will soon be invited through the media to express interest in vaccination through the Vaccination Portal, says a statement from the Rheumatological Society of Cyprus.
As mentioned, people who take these drugs through the GHS will be identified by the Vaccination Portal when they express interest and proceed to arrange appointments.
It is noted, Whereas persons taking biological agents or other immunosuppressive medicinal products obtained outside the GHS should have a certificate from their attending physician and send an email to emvoliasmos.eidikes@moh.gov.cy expressing an interest in vaccination and stating: Name, ID number, Contact Number, the fact that they belong to this group using biological agents or other immunosuppressive medicines and should attach the relevant certificate of their treating physician;
