The operation of the standard Nursery Station at the Multi-PowerEd Centre for Social Care, as of tomorrow decided by the Municipality of Paphos. The Nursery Station is unique in Cyprus, as it has five rooms with all the necessary equipment for the care of infants, as well as a special breastfeeding room.
In the light of the improvement of epidemiological data and the possible reactivation of enterprises, especially in the tourism sector, the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Multi-PowerEd Centre for Social Care of the Municipality of Paphos, decided to start the Programmes of the Centre from today.
The nursery will be open first and the nursery and afternoon work is expected to open in April. From the end of the school year until its resumption, there will be a Summer Employment Programme for primary school children.
The Centre will start its operation with the following Departments:
Infants 4 months-2 years old
Infants 2-4 years old
Children's afternoon employment 5-12
The opening hours of the Departments for infants, toddlers and children are from 07.30 to 15.00 and for afternoon work from 13.00 to 18.00.
Summer Employment Program for Primary Children from 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Applications for the programmes may be submitted:
Nursery Department until 10 March 2021
Afternoon Employment and Kindergarten until 15 March 2021
Summer Employment until 4 June 2021
Applicants can obtain the relevant application forms from the Municipality's website or the Municipal Palace.
