A sample will be taken from tomorrow to carry out the rapid test in minors in Lyceums and Special Schools, as well as in those minors who come to the sampling points operating in Cyprus to undergo tests.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, nasal sampling will be applied in the first instance only to minors, to make it easier for children, as a more sensitive group of the population, not to feel uncomfortable during the test and to minimize discomfort.
The ministry of health's concern, as stated in the communication, is to use all scientifically approved methods to better serve citizens, while ensuring continuous surveillance of the epidemiological picture.
