MEASURES IN PLACE UNTIL 31 MARCH TO PREVENT REINTRODUCTION OF MEASURES - Reminder

"In order to avoid a worsening of the epidemiological situation in the country and to move on to the next phases of the strategy to gradually remove restrictions with care and security, cooperation and vigilance from across society is needed," the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

In order to prevent the reintroduction of restrictions and to maintain the epidemiological picture at manageable levels, the following shall be recalled, inter alia, in force until 31 March:

  • The maximum number of people who can visit houses is four (4) persons, regardless of age.
  • The curfew begins at 11 p.m. and is effective until 5 a.m. the next day.
  • Access to parks, linear parks, beaches, squares and nature trails of the Department of Forests is allowed with a maximum number of six (6) persons per group, regardless of age.
  • The maximum number of believers in church and/or other forms of religious worship is up to 50 persons, subject to health guidelines.
  • Weddings, baptisms and funerals with a maximum number of 10 persons are permitted. It is forbidden to hold meals and/or dinners in cases of weddings and baptisms.
  • All private care homes and private training centres are operated with a maximum of five (5) persons, including the instructor (4 students + 1 instructor).
  • Outdoor sports facilities may be operated for individual training sessions, as long as the trainees do not exceed five (5) persons, including the coach.
  • Large football fields allow the simultaneous training of athletes who do not exceed five persons per team, including the coach. The total number of persons per sports facility may not exceed 15 persons.
  • Closed sports facilities may be operated, subject to:
    • up to 80 m2 are located up to two (2), including the trainer/coach,
    • facilities of more than 80 m2 and up to 200 m2 are located up to three (3) persons, including the trainer/coach, and
    • up to five (5) persons, including the trainer/coach, are located in the premises of a single area of more than 200 m2.
