Police are appealing to the public to help locate the driver who fled the scene of a hit and run incident, injuring two 14-year-olds in Paphos last night.
In a statement, Paphos Assistant Police Director Nikos Tsapis said that from the examinations so far it appears that the car driven by the unknown driver is of Opel brand, blue colour and the public is asked to ring the Police if they have any information.
Referring to the incident, Mr. Tsapis noted that about 20:00 last night a car driven by an unknown driver on the road Kato Pervolia towards the district of Muttallou, hit and injured two minors aged 14 years.
The driver of the car continued his course and fled the scene of the collision, while the two 14-year-olds were taken by ambulance to GN Paphos.
One of the two minors was seriously injured in the pelvis, leg and chest and remains for hospitalization at Paphos General Hospital, while the second, after receiving the relevant care, was discharged, concluded Mr. Tsapis.
