Free testing programs are continuing with rapid antigen testing of the general population and employees, with a view to continuous surveillance of the community and workplaces.
With a view to the smooth and safe operation of enterprises operating in accordance with the Decrees, employers in enterprises, as well as Heads in Departments/Services of the public and wider public sector have a responsibility to coordinate as employees undergo rapid testing, in order to ensure the mandatory weekly examination with rapid test of staff antigen as follows:
- Enterprises/services employing up to 3 persons, control should be carried out on all employees.
- Enterprises/services employing between 4 and 10 persons should have checked at least 4 employees.
- Enterprises/services employing more than 11 persons should have checked on at least 4 persons or 20% of employees, whichever is greater in number .
In addition, self-employed persons, as well as persons working as domestic helpers and/or responsible for the care of the elderly or disabled or persons who cannot self-serve, must participate through the programme.
