The participation of the Municipality of Pegia in a European project on the internet, also resulted in the free provision of the goods in the municipal area.
The Mayor of Pegias, Marinos Lambrou, said that the municipal authority participated in the European Wi Fi 4 EU Programme, through which the Municipality secured a voucher worth 15 thousand euros and installed in 11 points free access to Wi-Fi, in areas of the Municipality, which essentially cover the entire municipal area.
In particular, the free internet is now offered in part of Kolpou Kolalion Avenue, in its tourist and commercial area, in part of the beach of Kolpou Kolalion (Maa), in the central Square of the Municipality, as well as in the town hall building.
The network was installed and operated on Tuesday and access is now free to all.
