The new church of Agios Ephraim entered the building stage yesterday, in the area of the Monastery of Agios Neophytos in Tala. Construction work began with the creation of the first wall of support of the temple, five meters high, erected at the level of the main road leading to the Monastery.
As stated by the Archimandrite of the Monastery of Agios Neophytos, Alexios Enclaviotis, the remaining work on this retaining wall will follow within the week, followed by the construction of the second retaining wall, 4.80 meters high, until we reach the physical level on which the floor of the new temple will be constructed.
Archimandrite Alexios stressed that the project is completed thanks primarily to the win-win work of people such as civil engineer Anthimos Ioannou, from Tala, who undertook the Static Study and supervision of the whole project and the architectural office Ioakim and Loizos who prepared the architectural plans.
"We are confident that we will continue to have both the blessing and support of our Virgin Mary and our Saint, as well as the faithful, to carry out the whole work, in the glory of our Triad God, but also of our Virgin Mary of Platytera and Saint Ephraim," he concluded.
