The T/Cs responded positively on Thursday through the Technical Committee on Health and in the coming days they will be delivered 2,000 Pfizer vaccines that have arrived in the Republic of Cyprus from the EU.
According to CYPE sources, on Friday morning the E/C and the Head of the Technical Committee will consult on the delivery of these vaccines, after almost all technical preparations have been completed and the health safety and vaccine storage protocols requested by the EU and pharmaceutical companies are met.
A Pfizer official, according to the same sources, came to Cyprus last year and went to the occupied territories for this purpose, while through the Technical Committee for Health has also been trained the staff who will do vaccinations on the T/C side.
In accordance with the same procedure and through the Technical Committee on Health, T/Cs will be given vaccines from now on in proportion to the batches received by Cyprus. According to the same sources, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus, no later than the beginning of next week will also make a communication in Turkish on the vaccination procedure and the application through the relevant platform for the T/Cs who are citizens of the Republic and beneficiaries of the GHS or have a nursing card.
