The Lemesian do not give up despite the pandemic of the crown which has aborted the big events of the city of the feast. They submit proposals for alternative events for the Carnival season.
As is well known, the great carnival parade will not take place, however, the Limassol Municipality and the Cultural Committee are meeting today to take decisions regarding the Carnival events that can take place, always taking the measures that will be in place.
This year's carnival season starts from March 4th until the 14th of the same month.
As 'F' informs, proposals for photography and cartoon exhibitions are expected to be presented at the meeting of the Cultural Committee. A proposal will also be put forward for various online competitions using technology and social media for the benefit of the carnival.
It is not out of the question that other events will take place in the presence of people, but it will all depend on the extent, type of measures and restrictions that will exist during the March period.
It should be noted that the Municipality of Limassol has lost huge revenues due to the pandemic and the cancellation of major events, as well as this year's carnivals.
