GOLF COST THEM €13,000

In 18 complaints with fines amounting to €13,000, the Police in Paphos proceeded early Tuesday afternoon for violating the decree of the Infectious Diseases Act.

According to the Police, in a premises that serves as a golf training area in the coastal area of Chlorakas-Lebas, where there is also a refreshment room, the Police located a total of 17 people, some of whom were training, some were just regulars and drank their coffee or beer, while others did not wear protective masks.

The members of the Police proceeded to denounce 17 persons, issuing them a fine worth €300 each. The owner of the site was fined €8000 for violating the decrees of the Law on The Clean-up Act.
