The services of the GHS are greatly expanded from today, since the system includes preventive dentistry services and out-of-hospital services for the professions of general nursing nurses, mental health nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, clinical dietetics and clinical psychology.
Registration and contracting for the above providers have begun and are ongoing. Beneficiaries will be able to view these providers from the www.gesy.org.cy website within the next few days, via the "Search for Providers" link, after the registration and conclusion of their contract with the Agency has been completed.

Services covered: Outpatient physiotherapy services which include evaluation and treatment services at the individual level.
Access to physiotherapy services: Access to outpatient physiotherapy services will be made upon referral from the medical specialties listed below and if one of the diagnoses mentioned in the diagnosis tables for referral to an adult and child physiotherapist applies (the diagnosis tables will be posted on the GHS website).
The beneficiaries, if they obtain a complaint, choose the physiotherapist they want to visit from the list of physiotherapists participating in the GHS and arrange an appointment.
It is noted that the GHS will cover a specific maximum number of physiotherapy sessions per diagnosis, per beneficiary, per year. For the maximum number of visits covered by the System for this diagnosis will be informed by the doctor who will refer to physiotherapist services and will be posted on the website of the GHS.
Payment: The beneficiary pays a supplement of ten (10) euros for each session with a physiotherapist.
