The great goal of the authorities of Paphos province to put an end to the outbreak of serious accidents on the streets of Paphos and to the era of prohibitions and restrictions on traffic is in full swing.
The aim of the managers of the Paphos Directorate told the "F" competent source, is that the phenomena of tragic accidents and other incidents on the streets are treated responsibly by the citizens. The fact that the force is tasked with monitoring compliance with the decrees during this period of emergency, this source pointed out, does not mean that the important task of safety on the roads has been stopped.
"The intensification of traffic controls in Paphos these days is precisely with the aim of removing the tragic incidents related to road traffic and to minimise the least serious ones," according to the same source. "These checks will continue intensively both in the capital and in the secondary road network of paphos province with the aim of preventing the action of those drivers responsible for causing the accidents".
